Privacy policy
How Aurian Security Pty Ltd handles personal information collected through this website and in the course of our services.
Aurian Security Pty Ltd, ACN 639 930 528, is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of our services, how we hold it, and how to reach us about it.
What this website collects
This website is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party trackers, tag managers or advertising scripts. The only third-party service on the site is Cloudflare Turnstile, used with the contact form to tell people from automated abuse; it is loaded only on pages that carry the form, and what it collects is described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Our hosting provider records standard access logs (the requested page, the time, the requesting IP address and browser identification) for security and capacity purposes. Logs are retained for 90 days and then deleted.
The contact form
When you send a message through the contact form we receive the details you enter: your name, organisation, email address, phone number if you give it, the service you are interested in, and your message. If you reached the form from an advertisement, the message also carries the campaign identifiers in the page address, such as Google's click identifier, so we can tell which advertising brought the enquiry. The message is delivered by email to sales@aurian.com.au and handled by our team for the purpose of replying to you. We do not add you to a mailing list. We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact with you and then delete them, or sooner if you ask.
Information collected during engagements
During penetration testing and security assessments we may encounter information held on your systems, including personal information about your staff, customers or students. We use it only to deliver the engagement. It is stored in hardware-encrypted form, accessible only to the consultants working on the engagement, who are bound by confidentiality obligations, and it is securely destroyed once you have confirmed that the engagement is complete, in accordance with the Privacy Act and any state privacy legislation that applies to you.
Your report is delivered to you encrypted. We keep a separately encrypted copy offline, accessed only when we work with you again, so a later engagement can start from the record of the earlier one. Every engagement is covered by the confidentiality terms of our agreement, and we do not disclose or discuss our clients, past or present.
Your rights and how to contact us
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and complain about how we have handled it. Write to privacy@aurian.com.au or call us on 1300 AURIAN. We acknowledge every privacy enquiry and complaint, look into it, and respond to you in writing. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
This policy is effective from 17 September 2026. We review it when our services or this website change.
